Department of Law and Human Rights, University of Asia Pacific, organized a “Fresher’s Reception Program: Spring 2022”, on 28th July at the auditorium of the University. All Clubs of the Department of Law and Human Rights, UAP, were represent in this program.

Professor Dr. M. A. Baqui Khalily, Dean of School of Law, was the Chief Guest in the ceremony and Dr. Chowdhury Ishrak Ahmed Siddiky, Head of the Department of Law and Human Rights, was present as a Special Guest.

All the Club Convener, distinguished teachers and students of the Department of Law and Human Rights of Asia Pacific University were present.

UAP Law Photography Club, Cultural Club, Social Welfare Club, Debate Club, Moot Court Club, and Sports Club introduced their club shared and activities through video documentary and slides show.

Later, prizes were distributed to the winners of the General Quiz Competition and Legal Quiz Competition. The winners received the awards from the Chief Guest, Professor Dr. M. A. Baqui Khalily, Dean, School of Law and the Head of the Department, Dr. Chowdhury Ishrak Ahmed Siddiky.

Later, the Chief Guest, in his speech, Invited the fresher’s to participate in Club activities in addition to studies and advised them to be good people. Moreover, in his remarks he mentioned the Law Department as one of the best and most dynamic department of the University of Asia Pacific.

Then all the clubs displayed their club activities. UAP Law Orators Debating Club organized a debate which the fresher’s, students and teachers enjoyed.

Later, Moot Court Club organized a demo moot, which gave Fresher’s an idea about mooting. At the end, the Cultural Club enlivened the event with songs, dances and poetry recitations.

The Head of the Department, Dr. Chowdhury Ishrak Ahmed Siddiky, delivered his speech. He cordially welcomed all the newly admitted students of the Department of Law and Human Rights, UAP. Finally, he announced the end of the program by giving a vote of thanks.
